Today’s Inspiration: “May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us— yes, establish the work of our hands.”Psalms 90:17 NIV We need the favor of God to manifest the goodness of God in our life, family, school, business, work and ministry building the kingdom of God. As a Christian and disciple of Christ Jesus, we discover there is no way we can do God’s work without His favor. Moses knew this from the beginning of his burning bush experience to bring God’s people out of Egypt and Joseph knew this when he was in the pit and prison. Exodus 33:14

Favor is how God shows His leading by the Holy Spirit. But know this, to encounter God’s favor it is never in places which we are comfortable but rather in the place where we need God most for His wisdom, power, providence, miracles and healing. Favor is found in the secret place with the Lord. Psalm 91:1 Wisdom speaks,”Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”Proverbs 3:3-6 Favor is the spiritual key that opens to God’s leading opportunities, purposes, protection and providence.

Prayer: O Lord my God, may I grow daily in your word of wisdom, stature, and favor. Your presence is precious to me for my only desire is to seek you first your kingdom and your righteousness in all that I do. Let my bended knees be at your feet. Bring me to the place of my calling and gifting which you have created, planned and purposed for your glory. Give me the faith to step out, step up, and step heavenward into the destiny and race you have me run. May your face shine upon your servant and son. Bless me with thy peace and favor in Jesus Name, Amen.
