Today’s Inspiration: “For this command is a lamp, this teaching is a light, and correction and instruction are the way to life.” Proverbs‬ ‭6‬:‭23‬ ‭NIV.‬‬ The Word of God is the language of the Holy Spirit, who God sent to anoint us, teach us, mould us, direct us and even discipline us to walk in the spirit and not in the flesh. Today we have more busy time than quiet time, troubled time than peaceful time, and likely stressful time than restful time. When we give God our time, He turns it from Chronos to Kairos, which renews our minds and redirects our spirit to His Spirit, and reforms our words and direction to His guidance spiritually.

What do we experience in our personal time with God? How is His presence going to make a change in us? Today many can pray, worship, serve, fellowship and busy with ministry, work or family but do not know God. There is no change in one’s attitude, behaviour and character, the inner spirit man. Why? There is no conviction, correction and change by the Word of God, and the power of the Holy Spirit in spiritual formation. Do you remember when Ezra read the Torah to the Israelites? They were is tears and remorse, rendering of their hearts in repentance for their sins, iniquities and transgressions. Therefore don’t rend our garments in religiosity but rend our hearts in humility, obedience and teachability by the Word of God. Start to read the Word of God personally.

Prayer: O Lord my God, search my heart, know my anxious thoughts and test me, and see if there are any offence within me, I choose to repent and be changed by your leading into your Word and everlasting ways. Remove any hardness in my heart and give me a new one with a new spirit to be like you Lord in Christlikeness, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
