These forty years the Lord your God has been with you, and you have not lacked anything.” Deuteronomy 2:7 NIV. A heart of thanksgiving reveals the goodness of God and HIs faithfulness. Our prayers have to move us from fear to faith, from worries to worship, and from problems to praises! The root cause of many issues of life emerges from fear. Job 3:25.
Fear is a face to face battle which all of us has to fight and overcome by faith through Christ who strengthens us. Know this, nothing is too difficult for God. Jeremiah 32:17. And nothing is impossible for God for He created all things and even things to come. He is the potter and we are the clay, He is the vine and we are the branches, and He is the wine and we are the wineskin. So Fear the Lord, you his holy people, for those who fear him lack nothing. The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing. Psalms 34:9-10. Praise God! This is a new season of thirst and hunger for more of God and less of us. John 3:30.
Prayer: O Lord my God, increase my faith this season to have more of you, your Word and your Spirit. I believe life is more than just the clothes, finances, and food for you know we need all these things. Open my eyes to deeper things of God and direct my feet by your Holy Spirit and your voice. For faith comes by hearing, hearing the voice of God, in Jesus' Name, Amen!
