Today’s Inspiration: “And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.” Isaiah 10:27 KJV. Anointing is key for spiritual breakthroughs. Anointing of oil was used to ordained Kings, priests and sanctification in the temple. It symbolizes spiritual empowerment, enlightenment and edification for the person set apart for God himself. In the Old Testament, Oil was used to consecrate, sacrifice, lighting, and purification.

Anointing brings blessings, abundances and spiritual joy into one’s life and it changes our countenance with the love, faith and hope in God. The Psalmist sang, “It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, Even Aaron's beard: That went down to the skirts of his garments; As the dew of Hermon, And as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: For there the LORD commanded the blessing, Even life for evermore.”Psalm 133:2-3 Let there be fresh oil and anointing for every new season unfolding for the glory of God. It breaks all heaviness, burdens, and oppressions, bringing spiritual liberation.

Prayer: O Lord my God, anoint and set me apart for your glory. Let there be fresh oil for the temple of the Holy Spirit; let lights of the spirit be lit on the menorah; let there be the bread of life on the table; let there me sweet incense of prayers unto your ears and let there be deep worship and intimacy in your holy presence. Remove all old garments and clothe me with a new garment of praise unto your holy name, in Jesus Name, Amen.
