Today’s Inspiration: “Where there is no revelation, people cast off restraint; but blessed is the one who heeds wisdom’s instruction.” Proverbs 29:18 NIV. Our respond to the Word of God is more important than just hearing the Word of God. Jesus didn’t just release the Word from heaven, He literally came down as the Word from heaven. John 1:1. Faith actions bring out the logos into the Rhema realm, where the written is manifested into the spoken Word in respond to God’s voice. Today we can outwardly busy, inwardly noisy, and worry to hear God’s still small voice.

The Bible teaches us that rushing belongs to the fools but composure is the character of the wise. Wisdom is better than strength. Ecclesiastes 9:16 It doesn’t not come in multitude of Words but as a double edge sword which brings revelation to both our hearts and minds. Hebrews 4:12 When we don’t spend time with God is like trying to cut down trees with a blunt axe, striving, and fruitless. A wise woodcutter spent most of his time sharpening his axe and spent less time cutting. We need quietness of our hearts to hear God’s voice, restfulness of our soul to obey God’s word, and fruitfulness of our spirit to do God’s will. Glory to God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, let your Spirit lead me to be still and know that you are God. Let everyday of my life be filled with your divine revelation and quicken my spirit to respond to your divine Word each day. Give me your wisdom to sharpen my mind and sanctify my heart to do your will and rejoice in your purposes. For your ways are higher than mine, and obedience is better than sacrifice in Jesus Name, Amen.
