Today’s Inspiration: “Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love.”Revelation 2:4 NKJV We are entering an era of turbulence with many events of Matthew 24 unfolding. What satan is doing is to quench our fire for Christ, convenient us without sacrifice, and distract us from worshipping God and hunger for His word. As such a time as this, the Holy Spirit reminds us of His word in revelation to break the lukewarm flesh by the Power of the Cross, the Blood and the Spirit of the Lord. It was a resounding voice this morning,” Don’t lose the fire, put up the sacrifice, fire shall come down and fan up the flames!”

Our Lord’s reminder to the end of times church of the danger of losing our love, sacrifice, fire, zeal and passion for Christ He said,”I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked— I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.”Revelation 3:15-19

Prayer: O Lord my God, let I not be lukewarm but be spiritually awakened with the zeal for Christ and the love of God, my first. Anoint my eyes that I can see and reveal all roots of blockages that I shall uproot them. Send your fire and your rain for my soul to burn with passion and refresh my spirit with spiritual strength. May I fight the good fight of faith and finish the race well. Pour out your spirit once more, in Jesus Name, Amen.
