28 July 2023 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us— yes, establish the work of our hands.” Psalms‬ ‭90‬:‭17‬ ‭NIV. Wisdom come through knowing how to steward our soul and life according to God’s word and ways. How irony it is to see one can strive whole life for wealth and eventually using the all wealth for health. Do not wear yourself out to get rich; do not trust your own cleverness. Cast but a glance at riches, and they are gone, for they will surely sprout wings and fly off to the sky like an eagle. Proverbs‬ ‭23‬:‭4‬-‭5.‬

We cannot serve God and mammon, Jesus taught. Matthew 6:24. Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain. In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat— for he grants sleep to those he loves. Psalms‬ ‭127‬:‭1‬-‭2.‬ ‭Hence soul care is so vital and important to have intimacy, relationship and communion with God. For out of our hearts come issues of life and we need godly wisdom to navigate life and do God's will. A person can receive only what is given them from heaven. John‬ ‭3‬:‭27‬. ‭This is a season to break free from strife, tiredness and weariness. Learn to enter His rest, presence and favour daily. This is wisdom.

Prayer: O Lord my God, turn all my worries into worship, and all my problems into praises. You are the treasure that I seek. Lead me with your wisdom daily to please you in all the works that I do. Lead me to walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh, and let your rivers of living waters flow out of my heart that I shall be a tree planted and well rooted in your love. And in all seasons, I shall bear the fruit of the Spirit, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
