Today‘s Inspiration: “The secret of the Lord is with those who fear Him, And He will show them His covenant. My eyes are ever toward the Lord, For He shall pluck my feet out of the net.” Psalms 25:14-15 NKJV. Everyday we face different challenges and decisions which can affect or influence our life, relationships, resources and even our spiritual life. Prayer and intimacy with God helps us to keep our spirit man in the secret place of God, where His wisdom, knowledge and understanding shall be the lamp to our feet and light to our paths.
Our flesh is always disobedient to spirit and the word of God. When we want to please man and the world, we get ensnared and fearful of what others think of us, becoming more self conscious than God conscious. The fear of man always brings disobedience, rebelliousness and troubles. But the fear of God gives us wisdom, knowledge and understanding. Proverbs 9:10. Wisdom speaks,”The fear of man brings a snare, But whoever trusts in the Lord shall be safe.”Proverbs 29:25. Prayer guards us with the fear of God to walk in the Spirit and Word of God. Our breakthroughs are in the Spirit and not in the flesh. Glory to God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, you are Spirit and we worship you in spirit and truth as true worshippers. Guard our hearts with thy Word and Holy Spirit with the reverence fear that we may have wisdom. Lead us away from temptation and deliver us from evil, for yours is the kingdom, power and glory forever, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
