Today‘s Inspiration: “Blessed is the man who listens to me, Watching daily at my gates, Waiting at the posts of my doors. For whoever finds me finds life, And obtains favor from the Lord.” Proverbs‬ ‭8‬:‭34‬-‭35‬ ‭NKJV.‬‬ Prayer is the most beautiful time in our lives where we partake in the presence of God. It is not meant to be religious but being relational unto the Lord. Many find difficult to pray because they have not encountered God personally in prayer. Why?

God looks for a surrendered heart and one who love Him for who He is and not what He could give. God knows all our needs even before we come to Him. Matthew 6:8 Many of us learn to pray in the Spirit but few know how to be led by the Spirit in prayer. Holy Spirit reveals the truth and will lead us to all truth. John 16:13. Like the eagle who doesn’t rely on one’s strength but be lifted by the winds beneath its wings, is strength of prayer. The Lord says,”And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.”Jeremiah‬ ‭29‬:‭13‬ We do not sustain the prayer but rather it is the prayer that sustains us. Learn to love and enjoy prayer. Praise God!

Prayer: O Lord my God, it is a joy to pray unto you and to seek you with all my heart. You bring healing to the sick, clothes for the naked and food for the poor. You heal the broken hearted, binding up their wounds. My heart and soul longs for you like a deer pants for the waters, and let all my cares be cast unto you. You are my strength and my refuge; my fortress and deliverer; the horn of my salvation and my high tower in Jesus' Name, Amen.
