27 November 2023 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today‘s Inspiration: By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as a wise builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should build with care. For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.”1 Corinthians‬ ‭3‬:‭10‬-‭11‬ ‭NIV‬‬. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, knowledge and understanding because Christ is the foundation. What are our thoughts, emotions and eyes holding on today? The major challenge today in the Church is the spiritual foundation in Christ, our first love.

Why are there rampant divorces, abortions, defilement and abuses in Christian homes and families? After pandemic, an estimate of 30% of church goers especially bigger ones are not returning to site service. And in some developed countries it is worst. Ironically, developing countries are having revivals. How can one’s faith be shipwrecked? When our love are on things and man but not have the love of God, we stand on sinking sand. Christ is the only solid rock I stand. We must know that the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. For our God is a consuming fire. Hebrews‬ ‭12‬:‭27‬-‭29.‬ ‭Put our love, hope and faith in Christ with trust.

Prayer: O Lord my God, when the ocean rise and thunders roar, I will soar with you above the storm. Father you are king over the flood, and I will be still to know you are God. What will shaken will be shaken but my trust is in you Lord Jesus. Bring me back to your sanctuary and there my soul shall be sanctified and my spirit shall be revived with your Holy Spirit once again, in Jesus Name, Amen.
