27 November 2021 Word by Senior Pastor, Ps Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: God doesn’t look at numbers but at the hearts of His people. Do not despise humble beginnings. Zechariah 4:10. The World looks to the rich and famous, but the Kingdom look to the humble and contrite.

The psalmist reminded, “When they were but few in number, few indeed, and strangers in it, they wandered from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another. He allowed no one to oppress them; for their sake he rebuked kings: “Do not touch my anointed ones; do my prophets no harm.” Psalm 105:12-15

In Luke 15, God doesn’t look at the Multitudes but the Solitude of the Lost Sheep who needs Him most. God doesn’t look at the Value but the Attitude of the Heart to find the Lost Coin. Our heavenly father’s heart is glad for one who repents than one who resents, one who shows mercy than one who judge and one who is content than one who is never satisfied. Are we the 99 who doesn’t need repentance or the one who needs to return to God? God hates pride but loves the humble. To build strong families, it is not just coming to Church but being Christlike at home. We do confess we do better at the former and need God’s grace to repent and change into His image for the latter. Time of refreshing, restoration and multiplication is coming when we come to the Father in Heaven in prayer. Praise God!

Prayer: O Lord My God, who am I that you are mindful of me and thinks of me, even when I am far from you. I thank you for your love, forgiveness and faithfulness that changes me daily. Increase my faith Lord and bring me closer to you, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
