27 May 2025 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “The people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.” Daniel‬ ‭11‬:‭32‬ ‭NKJV.‬‬ Our strength and our wisdom come not from our own abilities or knowledge of this world, but from the author and finisher of our faith, Jesus Christ. Hebrews 12:2. Our faith in God is strangely not strengthened during good times but ironically in perilous and dark times, just as Daniel whose fellow Israelites was put into fire, who himself was thrown into the lion’s den, and came under warfare for 21 days. Yet found His faith in the storm just as the disciples of Jesus did. Our calling seemingly intertwined with our crisis.

Who is the God of David? How can a shepherd boy bring down a giant warrior like Goliath, who brought fear to whole army of Saul? Remember David’s mother taught him how to serve the Lord and the knowledge of God. Psalm 116:16. Before he faced Goliath, he killed a bear and a lion which no soldier ever did. It was not by might, not by power but by the Spirit of the Lord. Zechariah 4:6. Today we might be facing some difficulty bigger than you, and no one can help. Come to God, pray and seek His face and know His scriptures and His exploits through all man and woman of God. For we shall overcome all things in the Name of the Lord by the power of His Holy Spirit, who brought all giants down for Israel. Praise God!

Prayer: O Lord my God, we serve a great and awesome God, who gave us eternal life and called us to serve Him with a purpose greater than our hearts, our minds and our own desires. Do not fear challenges for it makes us more than conquerors through Christ who strengthen us and gives us wisdom. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”
