27 February 2023 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “By humility and the fear of the Lord Are riches and honor and life. Thorns and snares are in the way of the perverse; He who guards his soul will be far from them. Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverbs‬ ‭22‬:‭4‬-‭6‬ ‭NKJV.‬‬ The presence of God is the realm of light and those who walks in His light becomes light. Romans 5:8. Biblical parenting is not just teaching our children to know the Word of God or pray to tell God all our needs. More importantly is to desire God’s presence, to seek His face more than just His hands. God is raising up a Jacob generation who seeks His face and desire more of Him and His Holy Spirit each day. Psalm 24:6.

Without the presence of God, there is no power. And without spending time with God, there is no intimacy and relationship. “Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?” Amos‬ ‭3‬:‭3.‬ It is not that God is not near because He is not answering our prayers but rather we are not aware of His presence, His voice, and His leading in the Spirit. Zechariah 4:6 Why? Paying the price of time and heart is vital in building any relationship. Today it is harder to build relationships because we spend time more with mobile phones and things of the world rather than with people, let alone with God. Therefore, learning to seek the presence of God brings divine healing, breakthroughs, miracles, signs and wonders into our children and their children’s life. We have to nurture a Jacob Generation, who shall be the Kingdom of light to the world for salvation in this end of times. Praise God!

Prayer: O Lord my God, one thing I have desired of the Lord, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the Lord, And to inquire in His temple. Your sheep hears your voice, you know us, and we follow you Lord. Forgive me of my busyness and excuses that I forget that all I need is to seat at your feet, O Lord. Lead me into your presence, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
