Today’s Inspiration: “The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn.” Isaiah‬ ‭61‬:‭1‬ ‭NIV‬‬. Salvation is not for everyone to just to say a prayer and enter into heaven in being a Christian. Salvation came to us because of the power of the Holy Spirit which Christ released when He died at the Cross of Calvary and resurrected to the mighty right hand of God. Salvation came upon all the disciples of Jesus Christ and the hearers of the gospel during Pentecost. Acts 1:8.

Salvation is the Calling of all the disciples and apostles who chose to follow Jesus by faith. We are all called to bring salvation to the lost, the poor, the sick and the needy. It is not just for the job scope of an evangelist but the heart of every Christians who has a deep relationship with Christ. Jesus taught, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” Matthew‬ ‭9‬:‭12‬-‭13.‬ ‭Be it you are in the marketplace, a house-maker, a church worker or even student, God can pour out His Spirit upon you and use you to bring salvation to your friends, colleagues and family in healing gifts of the Spirit and divine breakthroughs for testimonies. Nothing is impossible for God. Mark 9:23. Salvation is our Calling by faith. Praise God!

Prayer: O Lord my God, I believe that my the calling of salvation is in me and it is the power of the Holy Spirit that moves me to spread the gospel and pray for the souls who are lost, needy, sick, and poor. Let me be the doer of your word and not just a hearer. Let me be a producer and not just a consumer. I believe I shall bear much fruit by the power of your Holy Spirit, with a fresh anointing in Jesus' Name, Amen!
