Today’s Inspiration: “By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning things to come. By faith Jacob, when he was dying, blessed each of the sons of Joseph, and worshiped, leaning on the top of his staff. By faith Joseph, when he was dying, made mention of the departure of the children of Israel, and gave instructions concerning his bones.” Hebrews 11:20-22.
Our Faith in God influences our children and descendants. Each person’s destiny, calling and purpose are uniquely crafted by our awesome creator Abba Father. Our life is not just to live, but to have faith to do all things for the glory of God. 1 Peter 4:11. Each tribe is different and has different strengths and prophecies. If there are generational curses in the Bible because of sins, there are also generational blessings for those who seek, and obey the Lord’s commands. Exodus 20:5. As Christian parents, we must learn to pray, prophesy and bless our children in worship like Jacob did despite of their peculiar characters. Nothing is impossible for God for He can turn back the backsliders and cause the sinners to repent. When I first became a father, the Lord told me that the most important lesson to teach my children is to love God most and put Him first daily in all things. Matthew 6:33. Love never fails and covers multitude of sins. 1 Peter 4:8.
Prayer: O Lord my God, thank you for all your love letters and loving kindness whenever I read your word and prophecies. It always removes my hardened heart and gives me a new heart of hope to love and trust God by faith, not by sight. Let me have the passion of Christ, that my faith in God shall blossom and bear fruitfulness, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
