Today’s Inspiration: “When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” John 8:12. Being filled by the Spirit is to walk in the Spirit following Christ. Sin brings darkness to the world and death to one’s soul but God’s grace brings light and hope to the world and freedom to the soul who choose to turn to God. We get frustrations and disappointments is because we depend on our flesh and not on God in the Spirit.
“Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace. The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so.” Romans 8:5-7. We are governed by the mind of Christ and not the mind of carnality. Prayer renews our mind and worship renews our heart. A season of resolve is coming where we have to make clear decisions and godly choices. If faith is the path we shall take, Jesus is the way, truth and life for you and me. The world desperately need Jesus and we are the reason for His season to share His beautiful Name and see his power and glory manifests. Time to put on the full amour of God and keep praying in Spirit and truth, for it’s where our strength resides. Ephesians 6:11.
Prayer: O Lord my God, let my path be forever depart from the darkness of the world and separate me from sin as far the east is from the west. In you I find strength to overcome. Lead me into thy path of light and righteousness which how you led both at the Cross and the Resurrection. Let me be dead to sin, and alive in faith to give glory and testimony for your Name, in Jesus' mighty Name I pray and proclaim, Amen
