Today‘s Inspiration: “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.”James 5:16 NIV. Sin ensnares a soul and blinds the spirit man of our innermost being. Sin can hinder a soul to be healed, liberated and freed from sickness, illness and diseases. Does a person who is sick due to sin? A popular question. We don’t know what we don’t know. Yet the Holy Spirit is the spirit to all truth. Sin is not committed just on the body but also in the spirit and soul.
A Christian normally relates sin to breaking God’s commandments and that is true but when we go deeper into the spiritual realm, we can discern spiritual warfare that goes beyond the flesh and notice the principalities and powers. Generational occult practices, like witchcraft, sorcery, curses, idolatry, immortality, dedication, vows and divination can be deeply embedded in the generation man who goes in cyclical bondages. They must be uprooted, pull down, destroyed and overthrown in spiritual warfare to take back what enemy has stolen in power and authority. Jeremiah 1:10 There and then can we begin to build and plant fruitfully in the Spirit. Glory to God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, reveal to me by your Holy Spirit any generational sins, iniquities and transgressions which have allowed a foothold for the enemy to cause sickness, brokenness and lack in my life and my descendants. I plead and apply the precious blood of Jesus over them and my generation and thereafter to be. Sanctify our spirit, soul, and body in the spiritual realm. Let all generational iniquities be broken at the Cross and rendering it powerless over my generation man, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
