Today’s Inspiration: “Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.” James‬ ‭3‬:‭18‬ ‭NKJV.‬‬ The children of God are peace makers. It is the wise that will save souls and bring salvation to the lost. Proverbs 11:30. Wisdom leads us to pray, and prayer leads us to bear fruit in the Spirit in the obedience to God’s Word in speech and deeds. Galatians 5:22-23. Without prayer, there is no repentance and without repentance there is no wisdom, knowledge and understanding in the fear of God. The Spirit of God is the Spirit of wisdom and not worldliness.

“Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom. But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.” James‬ ‭3‬:‭13‬-‭17‬ ‭NKJV.‬‬ Giving time to God in prayer changes our character.

Prayer: O Lord my God, give me self control and wisdom in all difficult situations and circumstances. Lead me always in prayer, petitions and thanksgiving in my heart and not in anxiousness. Lead my feet with the gospel boots of peace in the Spirit that will guard our minds and hearts daily to focus on prayer in your presence not on the problems in Jesus' Name, Amen
