Today’s Inspiration: “Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will save it. What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, and yet lose or forfeit their very self? Whoever is ashamed of me and my words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels.” Luke‬ ‭9:23-26‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Today we seldom hear this Word being preached. What is a Christian? Are you a Totally Committed Christian? In the days of Jesus two thousand years ago, the risk of being a Christian is a matter of life and death and Christians faced the risk of being arrested daily for preaching Christ but the miracles, signs and wonders were so powerful. Yet through persecution, the gospel was shared fearlessly and selflessly across many Nations. Matthew 5:11. Today we can’t even part our tithe for God’s kingdom, let alone setting apart our lives for the gospel. We want the blessings but not paying the price for the gospel of Jesus Christ. Well, we can’t have the cake and eat it.

We believe the Church needs a spiritual awakening from lukewarmness and be a Church on fresh Pentecost fire with the Holy Spirit once again to boldly share Jesus in all Nations, showing His agape love in all homes and families. Isa 60:1. This is true discipleship, a life fully set apart by God and for God, is a real born again Christian. It’s not about full time ministry, it is being a full time disciple of Jesus Christ. Jesus’s standards didn’t change yesterday, today and forever. Hebrews 13:8. When we stand up and preach Jesus, Holy Spirit will show up. Praise God!

Prayer: O Lord my God, I choose to deny myself, carry the Cross and follow you. I believe as you were with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, you will be with me. You are the alpha and omega, the first and the last, and the author and finisher of my faith. It is no longer I that live, but Christ lives in me. Set me on fire with thy anointing, courage and boldness to share the gospel to all in Jesus' Name, Amen.
