Today‘s Inspiration: “Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.” Colossians 3:2-3 NKJV. All things in this world is temporal but God’s kingdom last forever. Be it riches of life, pleasure of the world, sickness of aging, or sorrows of suffering, they are all temporal and seasonal in what our eyes see. But what is unseen is eternal says the word of God. 2 Corinthians 4:18. At the end of life, what is most important?
Is it our possessions, or what world can offer? There is none but Christ Jesus, our eternal life, saviour and redeemer of our souls. Wisdom comes in numbering our days. Psalm 90:12. We are only stewards of what is entrusted to us. Are we pursuing the riches of life or riches of the Kingdom of God? Our relationship with God is paramount and pivotal in our spiritual life. What you receive is temporal in the world but what we give to God is eternal. The enemy can try steal your business and destroy your assets but he can never steal your prayers, tithes, offerings, word study, discipleship, good works for missions and time invested with God, for they build the treasures in heaven. Matthew 6:19-21.
Prayer: O Lord my God, let me seek ye first your Kingdom and righteousness, for you know all my needs and have already prepared for them in your book since the beginning of time. Let me set my mind and my heart upon you daily to be lead by the Spirit, to be a sower and builder of your kingdom. For it is most blessed to give than to receive and it is a blessed assurance to be a citizen of heaven, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
