Today’s Inspiration: Pride hinders love to enter our hearts and families. Pride is selfishness and it destroys and divide relationships with God and man. Pride also stifles learning and growth in one’s spiritual life, for God hates pride. Proverbs 16:18. No one is actually humble except Jesus Christ. Jesus taught the disciples saying,” No one is good except God. Mark 10:18. It’s very difficult to thank God in the flesh for the problems, sufferings or crisis we go through in life but in the Spirit I was enlightened that God allows things to happen in my life so that I will learn how to humble myself, remove the pride of life, and learn to love and think of others first.

Apostle Paul taught, “Therefore if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind (humility) let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.” Philippians 2:1-4 Following Jesus requires humility, unity, obedience and teachability. Life is precious and carries the grace from God daily. Learn the value of others in your life, especially family members. You will be surprise that rejection and neglect is rampant at home. So be humble and willing to change.
Prayer: O Lord My God, I repent for my pride and anger that may have caused hurt to my family members in my words or actions. I humble before you Lord to make changes in me, for you Holy Spirit can mould and transform me with grace, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
