Today’s Inspiration: “Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit.” James 5:17-18 NKJV. The condition of our prayer life reflects the state of one’s spirituality. If it is religious, we become legalistic but if it is relational, we become loving. What pleases God is an earnest prayer from our hearts and not from our heads.

If Jesus was led by the Spirit daily in prayer, how much more we need to do so and built an intimate relationship with God. Breakthrough happens when we extend the boundaries of prayer and intercession in our spiritual life. We begin to walk by faith and not by sight; our prayer time becomes God’s powerful kairos time. There is supernatural impact only when we are intentional in seeking God fervently. Those who are led by the spirit are the children of God. Romans 8:14 We belong to God in the spirit and not to the world in the flesh.
Prayer: O Lord my God, as I draw to you, draw close to me. I believe you have thoughts and good plans over me to give me hope and a future. I believe you have both the former and latter rain for my prayer life to bear new fruit in the spirit. I proclaim the goodness and loving kindness of God shall follow me all the days of my life as I live in the promises of God, in Jesus Name, Amen.
