Today’s Inspiration: “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:” John‬ ‭1‬:‭12‬ ‭NKJV.‬‬ A son follows the word, the way and the will of the Father and the Father’s promise, providence, and protection surrounds the son with His inheritance. When we walk in sin, it opens the door to fear that enslaves us in darkness to hide, deny and blame. But when we choose to follow Christ as Lord, we confess, repent and change.

Through Christ, we receive the spirit of sonship and is not longer a slave to sin but as a child of God to walk in obedience, light and holiness. Galatians 4:6-7 God’s blessings are more powerful than curses. Sin causes curses but sanctification brings blessings of God. The greatest challenge with the Church today is identity crisis which causes insecurity. It is an orphan spirit which needs to be removed, healed and restored as sons of God. Do we know who we are in Christ and in the sight of God? Is our attitude, behaviour and character like Christ or like a slave, in obedience or rebelliousness? There are many areas which we need to put off the old man in order for the new man to manifest. Ephesians 4:22

Prayer: O Lord my God, I believe you have called us to be sons and daughters of the Most High God, through the witness of your Holy Spirit, to receive the spirit of sonship for the Kingdom of God. Turn us away from all sins, fears and slavery, for your perfect love shall cast them out as we walk in obedience by faith, love and hope in Christ, in Jesus Name, Amen.
