Today’s Inspiration: “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.” I John 4:7 NKJV. Love, grace and forgiveness is the language of the Holy Spirit for a new beginning but bitterness, hatred and resentment are roots of bondage from the past. Matthew 15:13 We can’t change the wounds that has inflicted unto us by others in the past but we can be healed of our reactions to the past through the love of Christ by the power of His blood in redemption of our sins. The greatest obstacle to healing and breakthrough is fear.

Fear creates open doors for the enemy to steal, kill, and destroy but God’s perfect fatherly love is able to cast out all our fears through Christ. 1 John 4:18 The greatest fear for all of us is facing our past. We tend to hide, deny or blame but the wounds still fester in our attitudes, behaviour and character in reactions. In the healing ministry, we can see many carrying the dysfunctions of their parents in their lives which needs to be healed through experiencing God’s love for them. No one is exempted, even for pastors and leaders. Christ died on the Cross for us so that we be released of fear from our past and liberate new capacity of love for our future. Glory to God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, let me know more about your love through Christ Jesus my Lord, my healer and saviour. Give a me a new measure of faith to overcome all my fears of the past and remove all u godly procrastination of the future. I believe you have a plan to prosper me and not to harm, to give me hope and a good future. Give me the courage to face my past, carry the Cross and follow you, in Jesus Name, Amen.
