25 November 2023 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today‘s Inspiration: “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand.” John‬ ‭10‬:‭27‬-‭28‬ ‭NIV‬‬. Prayer closes our eyes to the world and opens our ears to our good shepherd and Lord, Christ Jesus. Today all the news of war, famine, inflation and viruses had caused many to fear of the future but God desires us to have faith of the future in Christ.

Training to hear God’s voice is every Christian parent greatest calling and responsibility to impart to their children. Their prayer, word and worship life determines their moral compass and righteous destiny walking with Christ. If they can’t recognise the shepherd’s voice, they can open door to the devil who comes to steal, kill and destroy, instead of having an abundant and holy life. John 10:10. It is the voice of God from the written Word, who exposes temptation, lies and deceptions of satan. God doesn’t give us a spirit of fear but of power, love and a compose sound mind. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans‬ ‭10‬:‭17‬.‭Praise God!

Prayer: O Lord my God, let me be set apart, be still and silent to hear your voice in prayer. Let not the noises of the world, the flesh and the enemy distract me from your presence, promises, and prominence. Let me be hunger and thirst for your righteousness and lead me with your voice, to focus on your Kingdom’s calling, gifts and purposes. Make me your vessel for the master’s use, for your sheep hears your voice, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
