Today’s Inspiration: “For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?” I John 5:4-5 NKJV. Jesus taught,” These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. John 16:33. Jesus didn’t promised a problem free life, on the contrary He promised a life that overcomes by faith. We may not be aware that we face different fears daily, be it health, finances or relationships.
Nobody likes fear or to have fear. But to grow spiritually, mentally, emotionally and physically, we cannot avoid fear in the world but to overcome it by faith. 2 Corinthians 5:7. Fear arises when we see matters larger than ourselves which we can’t solve or control but Faith arises when we see Christ larger than our challenges. It’s a choice. In fact most of the time, we discover faith behind fear when we overcome it through Christ in prayer, petitions and thanksgiving to God. Philippians 4:6. Faith is not a given, it is a sacrifice of losing self and trusting God. Faith relates to our spiritual growth and relationship with God. Fear ensnares but faith releases us from distress, worries and anxiousness. However, on the other side of the coin, Faith also helps us see opportunities, potential and provisions. Glory to God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, let my faith arise in Christ who lives in me and He rules over my thoughts, emotions and well being. Let this season be an overcoming one where I be led by faith in the Spirit and not by sight in the flesh. Nothing is too difficult for you. For in you, I find my hope and my strength to overcome. Your love shall never fail, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
