Today’s Inspiration: “Whoever would foster love covers over an offense, but whoever repeats the matter separates close friends.” Proverbs‬ ‭17‬:‭9‬ ‭NIV.‬‬ A worldly forgiveness and a kingdom forgiveness is different. The former is coming from regret but the latter is coming from repentance. The former doesn’t need to change but the latter is convicted to change. God is not looking at our sacrifices, He is looking at our hearts of obedience, sincerity and earnest actions and believe, not just words. 

Jesus shared the Kingdom parable,”There was a man who had two sons. He went to the first and said, ‘Son, go and work today in the vineyard.’ “ ‘I will not,’ he answered, but later he changed his mind and went. “Then the father went to the other son and said the same thing. He answered, ‘I will, sir,’ but he did not go. “Which of the two did what his father wanted?” “The first,” they answered. Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, the tax collectors and the prostitutes are entering the kingdom of God ahead of you. For John came to you to show you the way of righteousness, and you did not believe him, but the tax collectors and the prostitutes did. And even after you saw this, you did not repent and believe him.” Matthew‬ ‭21‬:‭28‬-‭32‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Prayer: O Lord my God, thank you for your admonishment and discipline of my soul. Let my life be held accountable to your Holy Word and not walk according to my old man repeating mistakes or behaviours but to put on the new man which is humble, obedient and teachable according to your commandments and instructions. Let me be like the son which is truthful, faithful and useful to the Father, in Jesus' Name, Amen
