Today’s Inspiration: “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.” James 1:22 NKJV. Wisdom does not come from experience but exercising the Word of God. You can’t use old wineskin for new wine, just as you can’t walk in sin and expect a divine breakthrough. Matthew 9:17. A new mindset shift is required to contain new hope in healing, provisions and good success. One cannot reach his or her fullest potential without excising their talents and skills, likewise for one to grow spiritually is to exercise prayer and spiritual gifts through Christ.

Apostle Paul taught,” For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.” James 1:23-25. We can’t walk in the old and expect new things to happen. Rather we need to trust God in walking in His ways that will usher in blessings, favour and wisdom. The Bible teaches us pragmatic wisdom to healthily eat, rest, speak, feel, think, relate and work. Most importantly to build healthy relationships with God and man.
Prayer: O Lord my God, May I look into your face to see thy grace and turn from my old and sinful ways so that I can walk with a new mind of Christ in holiness and righteousness of God. Renew my mind and make me thy new wineskin for the old has passed and the new has come. For I am a new creation in Christ, ready for the fresh wine and anointing oil in the Spirit. Behold Lord, you make all things new again, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
