Today’s Inspiration: “The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners..” Isaiah 61:1. The Anointing of God is able to break all yokes of sin, iniquities and transgressions, pulling down strongholds and removing bondages. All of us have dark areas which we need God to purge, cleanse and refine.
“If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us.” 1 John 1:8-10 Holy Spirit is the spirit of truth who brings convictions and not condemnation, for transformation and not judgement. Year 2022 is time for soul care and spiritual liberation and restoration. We must build a strong relationship with Jesus, the one who anoints us in proclaiming the Good News, for He who the Son sets free is free indeed! John 8:36 Anointing comes from the Name which is higher than any other Names, by which we can be saved. Praise God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, cleanse me with thy Word, and sanctify me with thy blood that I may be ready as your vessel of honour and apostle of your divine word. Let thy fresh oil from the heavens be pour down as the anointing shall bring forth a divine breakthrough and season of miracles in Jesus' Name, Amen!
