Today’s Inspiration: Merry Christmas 2021 to one and all! The three wise men came to Jerusalem saying, “Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him.”Matthew 2:2.
During this time in the busyness to buy gifts, holding family gatherings, and feasting in celebrations, take time to worship and give thanks for the Lord for He makes the whole world knows about Him, not just as child born in Bethlehem but a saviour who came to bring salvation, healing and reconciliation of sinners in this world back to God. And He is coming again! John 14:3. Glory to God!
The wisemen not only were rejoicing when the star of the east stopped over Jesus birth, they were preparing to worship Him with their substance of offering, incense, and balm. Least that they know, the Lord gave them a prophetic dream that saved their lives, “Then, being divinely warned in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed for their own country another way.” Matthew 2:12. Praise God! We believe as we worship the Lord in this season, divine dreams, visions, and prophecy shall come upon us and our sons and daughters, young men and women, and the elderly for 2022. Let it be a year of salvation, healing and fruitfulness!
Prayer: O Lord My God, praise you our east and morning star! For your light has come, and may you shine your face and lift up your countenance upon us and our families, to bless us with thy strength, peace and favour for those who worship you, my Lord, my king and my saviour, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
