Today’s Inspiration: “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:18-19 NKJV Breaking from the past is important because it can be a stronghold against your calling, purpose and destiny. How to not remember the former things? Do you realise it is easy to remember our hurts, pains, traumas, shame, wrongs, failures and abuses more than positive memories?

The devil wants us to react and stuck to our past but God desires us to be free for new things that is to come from Him. If we read the Bible carefully, healing is never passive but intentional. Zaccheus climbed the tree to catch Jesus’s attention; woman with the alabaster jar washes Jesus feet with her hair; woman with issue of blood touched Jesus’s hem; and the friends of the paralytic lowered him down from the roof. They all make decisions to follow Jesus and reach out to Him. It changes all their spiritual lives into a new beginning. Breakthroughs and new life begins. God desires us to have a new life daily with Him. Repentance and forgiveness is the key to open the door to God’s new redemptive plans for healing, hope, and honour. Glory to God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, I choose to obey your word and follow your commandments. Heal all my past memories of bondages and redeem me into your loving arms. You are the breaker of my past and I enter into your gates of praise, your courts with thanksgiving only heart. Let no offences have any foothold in me, and who the son sets me free is free indeed through the blood of Jesus, in Jesus Name, Amen.
