Today‘s Inspiration: “Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s.” II Chronicles 20:15 NKJV. God is greater and stronger than our challenges and adversaries. King Jehoshaphat gathered the people of Jerusalem and Judah in prayer, fasting, and worship in the midst of great threats of war by Ammon, Moab and Mount Seir. Do not let the enemy distract us from the Altar of God, for King Jehoshaphat knew that his forebear King David won all battles not by might, nor by power but by the Spirit of God Almighty.
Our personal prayer Altar is our daily putting on the full armour of God. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Ephesians 6:12-13. Prayer is not drawing power but rather drawing closer to the presence of God, who is the power source of all breakthroughs. Prayer don’t just keep the flesh at the Cross, it also keep the devil out of bounds in our spirit, soul, body and family. Let this season to victorious in Christ, for He shall fight all our battles. Glory to God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, my victory is at the Cross and my strength is in the Lord. My cares are thy burden and my pain are thy stripes. My fears are thy nails and my worries are thy crown. Let this be a beauty for my ashes, joy for my mourning, and hope for my heaviness. Let my spirit hallow and my tongue praises the Holy one of Israel who wins all battles in the spiritual and physical realms, in Jesus Name, Amen.
