Today’s Inspiration: “No one puts a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment; for the patch pulls away from the garment, and the tear is made worse. Nor do they put new wine into old wineskins, or else the wineskins break, the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But they put new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.” Matthew‬ ‭9:16-17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬. Do we feel dry, weary and burnt out like life is tearing you apart in anxiety, stress or fear? What is the obstruction or stumbling block that keeps us from experience healing, breakthroughs, success and divine encounters from heaven? To know this revelation, you need to read verse 15.

“And Jesus said to them, “Can the friends of the bridegroom mourn as long as the bridegroom is with them? But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them, and then they will fast.” Matthew‬ ‭9:15. Jesus brought forth the revelation of His presence and‬‬ power of prayer and fasting. What is hindering us from receiving new wine is our old attitudes, behaviours and character. They must all go under the refiner’s fire at the altar of sacrifice as living sacrifices. Romans 12:1. Only then we can receive a new body, a new heart and a new spirit. The old shall pass away and the new has come. 2 Corinthians 5:17. This season is going to be a brand new chapter for you if you give yourself to prayer and seating down with Jesus at the altar personally. Behold, He will make all things new at the altar. Revelation 21:6.

Prayer: O Lord my God, I believe a time of refreshing is coming and I pray for myself that I will consecrate my heart and purify my hands before the Altar of God in repentance and thanksgiving for your grace and mercy. Make me a new wineskin and a new creation in Christ, that I may taste of your new wine and put on a new garment of praises once again, Jesus' Name, Amen.
