Today’s Inspiration: “The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes.” Psalms‬ ‭19‬:‭8‬ ‭NIV‬‬. Desiring the Lord comes from desiring His Word, which is His presence. We live in a world now which we see doing bad is good and doing good is bad, where holiness is condemnation and sinfulness is liberation. We no longer call sin at it is but swept under the rug of grace with no repentance. This will be the wide road to hell and not heaven, Jesus taught. Matthew 7:13-14

Jesus continued to speak of the end of times,”Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭21‬-‭23‬ ‭We can serve in the church and be a Christian or even a leader for many years but not repentant. What will get us through the gate of the Heaven is not position or power but a posture of a contrite heart and a broken spirit God will not despise that is repentant and regenerated with the fear of the Lord. Psalm 51:17 This is when our attitude, behaviour and character will change.

Prayer: O Lord my God, we believe that your gospel has the power to turn sinners back to you and to reach out to the lost, the least and the last. We need the unwatered down Holy Word of God with the power of Holy Spirit to sanctify our Nation and convict hearts back to God in divine transformation and not with information. The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever. The decrees of the Lord are firm, and all of them are righteous, in Jesus Name, Amen.
