Today’s Inspiration: “For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it.” Hebrews‬ ‭4‬:‭2‬ ‭NKJV.‬‬ Complacency, conceitedness, and lukewarmness are spiritual dangers which cause spiritual slumber to one’s soul. Why? We no longer share the gospel because many believers find it is offensive and that’s the reason why many are walking in sin and not in the truth. For without truth from the gospel, there is no power and transformation. John 8:36.

We were ministering in Melbourne Australia few years ago in a revival meeting and a middle aged brother was carried into the service because of his back pain and wasn’t able to walk. The lord revealed the truth that he was called to be a pastor but chose the world instead and went into many crisis. As we prayed, he suddenly was able to stand and walk without pain and tears came flowing down his face. He started to walked up and down the aisle saying,”Lord, I will serve, I will serve you.” It was a moving sight by Holy Spirit. His faith healed him and moved him back into ministry. Many made the same mistake after their breakthroughs, they didn’t serve the Lord. This happened to the Israelites when they didn’t have the attitude of gratitude. Deuteronomy 28:47-48. Time to move by faith and not by sight.

Prayer: O Lord my God, give me a new measure of faith to follow you. Give me wisdom, knowledge and understanding of your Holy Spirit to step out of my comfort zone and to trust you with all my heart, leaning not on my own understanding. For without faith it is impossible to please you. Lead me with a fresh and new direction to serve you and share the gospel, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
