Today‘s Inspiration: “No one sews a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment; or else the new piece pulls away from the old, and the tear is made worse.” Mark 2:21 NKJV. As we are entering into a new year and season, there are many things that need to change for a breakthrough. If we say there is nothing to change is spiritual pride. There can be unhealthy habits, attitudes or behaviours that hinders our spiritual growth, maturity, and anointing.
Prayer and fasting is the season and timing of change in our Spirit man. Without them, we will not break away from unhealthy lifestyle which blocks our spiritual lifestyle. Why are we able to spend countless hours online but not offline in prayer and reading God’s word? Why are we getting angry so easily and not bearing the fruit of spirit? The disciples couldn’t cast out the dead and dumb spirit is because their anointing is limited without prayer and fasting like Jesus. Mark 9:29. What is God speaking to you for the next season towards 2025? It’s a time for change for a fresh anointing.
Prayer: O Lord my God, those who have a hunger and thirst for your righteousness they shall be fillled. Let I not walk in the flesh but in the spirit to fast and pray, to seek your face, your heart and your will. Lead me into your Holy of Holies, deeper into the Ark of your presence, and put unto me a new garment as I remove the old ones. Let there be a time of refreshing and renewal in Jesus' Name, Amen.
