Today’s Inspiration: “Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.” 1 John 4:7-8 NIV. Repentance and forgiveness invokes a supernatural atmosphere of love, acceptance, belonging and existence of God in our lives. Jesus said,” He who forgives little loves little.” Luke 7:47 Without the Cross and Resurrection of Christ, there is no faith, love and hope for mankind. And love is greatest among them all.
This is is not our kind of worldly love but the agape love, the unconditional love of God, who gave His only begotten Son to die for our sins, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but has eternal life. John 3:16. The truth to the matter is we can be struggling to love because of our past hurts, pain and wounds. Jesus too faced rejections and betrayal on the earth but He did not love the sinners for what they did but loved them for what His Abba Father does. Romans 6:23. Without the Holy Spirit, which is the gift of God, there is no love of God. We need the Holy Spirit in our hearts, home, ministry and marketplace, not just in the Church. There is no Christianity or Trinity without the Holy Spirit, the love and power of God. He changes all things.
Prayer: O Lord my God, my love is not found in the flesh but in the heart of God. Fill me up Lord with your Holy Spirit and led me with your agape love. It all matters and situations, you are greater than my heart and I can overcome all distresses through Christ who strengthens me. God’s love for me will never fail and greater is your love in me than it is in the world, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
