Today’s Inspiration: For I am the Lord your God, The Holy One of Israel, your Savior; I gave Egypt for your ransom, Ethiopia and Seba in your place.”

Isaiah 43:3 NKJV The love and mercy of God endures forever. Do not dwell in the past, pain and problems but in the presence, peace, and providence of God in prayers. There are golden calfs in our lives that need to be removed, pull down and burn in order to build the altar of the Lord.

One day in preparing a sermon, the Holy Spirit impressed in my heart about idols and one of the strongest one is unforgiveness. How can it be an idol? We don’t realize that the greatest idol is self. This idol invites unclean spirits like bitterness, anger, resentment, rage, hatred and violence. Without repentance before God, you can’t remove or pull down this calf. It also causes sickness, illness and diseases to enter. Unforgiveness is spiritual entrapment by the enemy but forgiveness by the grace of God, through humility and sincere repentance has the power to frees us from all unrighteousness with the righteousness of Christ. Glory to God!

Prayer: O Lord my God, remove all debts, distress and discontent in my mind and my heart. I choose to repent and forgive all offenses that have came against me. Also forgive me if I had bore bitterness, grudge or unforgiveness in my soul. You opposed the proud but shows favor and blesses the humble. Pull down, burn and remove all golden calfs in my life, that hinders my relationship with you in worship, in Jesus Name, Amen.
