Today‘s Inspiration: ”Do not move an ancient boundary stone set up by your ancestors.“ Proverbs 22:28 NIV. The commandments and instructions of the Word of God are boundary stones of Israel and the children of God. They bring forth Spiritual wisdom, governance, protection and provisions. Christian parents need to bring up their children according to the divine boundaries of God’s Word and ensure they are not moved in their walk in life. When we break God’s commands, we are literally moving away the boundary stones protection and blessing. That’s how Satan comes in to steal, kill and destroy. John 10:10. He distracts us away from God’s word, prayer and obedience, slowly moving the stones away.
Jesus taught,”Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. Matthew 5:17-18 Without clear boundaries and revelations, we are cast off restraints. Proverbs 29:18 God has not just called us to pray but to obey His commands and statutes in actions by faith. Our life problems come from our acts of disobedience and rebelliousness. And obedience is better than sacrifice. 1 Samuel 15:22. Grace is not doing whatever we like but we are able to do what pleases God. Glory to God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, show me where ancient boundary stones are being moved. Help guide me to rebuild them and restore them to rightful places. Grant us wisdom to rebuild the family prayer altar and to set godly boundary with age old foundations and watch towers of spiritual discernment and visions. For I delight in your commandments and rejoice in your wisdom, knowledge and understanding in Jesus Name, Amen.
