23 February 2026 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “The Lord will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the Lord your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom.”Deuteronomy 28:13 NIV Obedience is better than sacrifice, for God looks at His ownership over us more than our offerings. When we compromise with God’s words and instructions, it opens doors to the enemy. But when we fear God, it is the beginning of wisdom, knowledge and understanding. Proverbs 9:10

Favor and blessings of God comes from humility, obedience and abiding to His Word. When we have the favor of God, we have favor for our work, business, ministry and home. When we humble ourselves before the Lord in prayer, petitions and thanksgiving, He lifts us up in the Spirit and prospers our soul. Apostle James admonishes,”You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God. Or do you think Scripture says without reason that he jealously longs for the spirit he has caused to dwell in us? But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.”James 4:4-6 NIV

Prayer: O Lord my God, turn my eyes upon you, the maker of the heavens and the earth. Guide me with your daily bread to fear the Lord and walk in your highway of holiness and wisdom. For your ways are higher than my ways and your thoughts are higher than my thoughts. Make me a humble vessel that is filled with your Holy Spirit and let all my steps brings prayers, peace, and praise to your Name in obedience to your Word, in Jesus Name, Amen.
