Today’s Inspiration: “When the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?” Luke‬ ‭18‬:‭8‬ ‭NKJV.‬‬ In this context, Jesus speaks about prayer like the persistent widow who keeps knocking on the unjust judge’s door until he finally relented to give her justice. How much more a just and Holy God can bring forth breakthrough as His people gathers to pray. The fire of intercession is the fire from the temple of the Holy Spirit. Leviticus 6:13. A prayerful life is a faithful life in God’s eyes.

For without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Hebrews‬ ‭11‬:‭6‬ ‭There was a pastor who rushed to the hospital because his son met with an accident and was dying. The doctor wasn’t optimistic but he braised up in prayer and was consistently pressing unto God not to take his son for he is still young. He was totally worn out after an hour of prayer, sweating profusely and his shirt was fully drenched. His flesh wanted to give up but the Spirit led him on for the second hour. Surprisingly, his son indicators miraculously changed. And when his son recovered, he told his father that he saw Jesus. He somehow knew he died and Jesus was taking him and walking with the Lord for a while. Strangely after the Lord stopped, and told him that his father was holding his hand persistently to revive him. It was at this time his life was revived. Glory to the mercies of God!

Prayer: O Lord my God, may the lamp of my spirit be burning day and night in the temple of the Holy Spirit. Break every fallow ground, dryness, and stagnant areas of my soul. Revive a new fervour and zeal for my God in prayer, praises and progress with thy Word. Let my prayers be always reaching your presence, and may your presence always empowers the strength for prayers, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
