Today‘s Inspiration: “The voice of the Lord is over the waters; The God of glory thunders; The Lord is over many waters. The voice of the Lord is powerful; The voice of the Lord is full of majesty.” Psalms 29:3-4 NKJV. Learning to hear the voice of God is the most powerful encounter in a Christian life. His voice changes everything inside of us and renews our minds and outcomes. Everyday we are actually fighting with different voices. The voice of the world, the devil’s and even our own fleshly voice.
Without being intentional to hear the voice of God, one can be deceived, distracted and discouraged easily. To hear the voice of God, we have to first humble, quieten, and still ourselves within us just like Elijah in Mount Horeb, Samuel in the Night, David in the Tabernacle, and even Christ in the Garden of Gethsemane. Remember the Holy Spirit is like a gentle dove and no flying creature will land on a moving object. Psalm 46:10 Learning to give ourselves as a living sacrifice is the key to hear from the Lord. Romans 12:1. Take a time out and set apart room for God honours Him, and this ushers in His Holy presence, not just in church but a daily communion with Him. His voice shall be a breakthrough for you in prayer, praises and worship.
Prayer: O Lord my God, let your sheep hears your voice, you know me and I follow you. Take and draw me into your presence as I close the door to the world, the flesh, and the devil. Open the door thy Kingdom, thy wisdom and thy power. For faith comes from hearing, hearing from the voice of God in your word. I believe this is the season of my breakthrough and divine turning around in your beautiful time, in Jesus' Name, Amen
