Today’s Inspiration: “Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.”Colossians 3:15 NIV Spiritual growth and maturity comes from the heart of thanksgiving, a deep gratitude unto God which is the best attitude in prayer. The spirit of thanksgiving meditates and magnifies the love, peace and joy of the Lord. For the Lord is good and His mercy endures forever. Psalm 107:1 Thanksgiving is the song and anthem of heavenly worship surrounding the throne of God. It magnifies His presence in the Spirit.

To build strong relationships in family, marketplace and ministry, we need to be thankful and appreciate one another. It’s learned attitude. Never take things for granted or given, especially for family. We are blessed because of the love, grace and mercy of God. In fact, thanksgiving is the highest form of worship in our spiritual life, growth and maturity. When we pray do we thank God or just ask for what we need? Whatever we do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. Colossians 3:17 How do we have joy in the Lord? Develop a heart of thanksgiving for its the song of salvation, healing, deliverance, restoration and reconciliation. Show gratitude in word and actions to those who have loved, blessed or helped you. There will be relational breakthroughs.

Prayer: O Lord my God, thank you Jesus for you are the joy and hope of glory, salvation and life. Everyday is precious, purposeful and powerful because every breath that you have given me is to praise and bless your Holy and mighty Name. Forgive me if I have taken you, things or people for granted and may your grace lead me in gratitude to those whom I have neglected. Let my family be filled with thanksgiving to God and to love our neighbor as ourselves, in Jesus Name, Amen.
