Today’s Inspiration: But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11:6 NKJV. Jesus said when He comes, would He find faith on the earth? Luke 18:8. He was not just referring to prayer and intercession but also in following Him and serving by faith. Faith is not about just receiving from God but more intentionally giving to God our obedience, sacrifice, substance and service to Him. The church is not for attendees but for actions of faith to serve God. We are not called to be consumers but producers. What would we say to Jesus when we see Him?

When we don’t have time for God, His Word and His kingdom purpose, that’s when troubles begins. Moses reminded the Israelites that gratitude in serving is important to God’s sight,”Because you did not serve the Lord your God with joy and gladness of heart, for the abundance of everything, therefore you shall serve your enemies, whom the Lord will send against you, in hunger, in thirst, in nakedness, and in need of everything; and He will put a yoke of iron on your neck until He has destroyed you.”Deuteronomy 28:47-48. The Israelites didn’t respond to God’s blessings in gratification. But the disciples did when they chose to leave their nets and followed Jesus. True sonship is to do the Father’s business on earth as it is in heaven and not caught up by the things of the world. Serve God and we will not loose our rewards by faith.
Prayer: O Lord my God, use us for your calling, gifting and election that we may serve you by faith and not by sight. Use me as your vessel in the Father’s House and let me not loose the rewards in diligently seeking you and serving you. Use me as a blessing to the body of Christ, and may I freely give what I have received from you. Like David, I will not give the Lord for what will cost me nothing at the threshing floor, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
