Today’s Inspiration: “Jesus called his twelve disciples to him and gave them authority to drive out impure spirits and to heal every disease and sickness.” Matthew 10:1 NIV. Satan’s greatest weapon is deception and he would not want to Christians to exercise God given authority through Christ. He uses discouragement and disappointments to keep you blinded from the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. 2 Corinthians 4:4. All who believed in Christ are given the authority for deliverance and the dominion which was stolen by the devil.
To grow in the anointing of the Lord, we have to first give ourselves to God. It is from Him that we receive the kingdom assignment on earth to destroy the work of the enemy. 1 John 3:8. Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne; love and faithfulness go before you. Blessed are those who have learned to acclaim you, who walk in the light of your presence, Lord. They rejoice in your name all day long; they celebrate your righteousness. For you are their glory and strength, and by your favor you exalt our horn.” Psalms 89:14-17. ”And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” Colossians 3:17. There is great power and authority in the Name of Jesus. Praise God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, I believe all power and authority has been given unto you when you disarmed all darkness and principalities at the Cross, making a spectacle of devil and his legions, triumphing them all. And this same authority has been given me to bring healing to the sick and deliverance to the oppressed. Increase my faith Lord with thy new measure in the gift of the Spirit and let there be a great salvation of souls, with miracles, signs and wonders, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
