Today’s Inspiration: “Then I said, “Here I am, I have come— it is written about me in the scroll. I desire to do your will, my God; your law is within my heart.” Psalms 40:7-8 NIV. How do we live today as Christians? One can be called a Christian but not a disciple of Jesus Christ, and one can be saved but not changed. Come to think of it what will be written about us in God’s scroll. Revelation 20:12. Do we walk according our self-will, or under the will of others, or yielding to God's will which is His Word?

We would only have peace when we learn to submit to His word, will and workings. Psalmist says,”How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word. I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands. I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you. Praise be to you, Lord; teach me your decrees. With my lips I recount all the laws that come from your mouth. I rejoice in following your statutes as one rejoices in great riches. I meditate on your precepts and consider your ways. I delight in your decrees; I will not neglect your word.”Psalms 119:9-16 NIV Let’s follow the Word of God.
Prayer: O Lord my God, I choose to trust you with all my heart and lean not on my own understanding, self will, of the will of others. I choose to yield to your Word only, for it is holy, righteous and true in your will. Turn me away from my sinful ways, words, and work as I repent for your grace to change me from within. Turn my heart and my eyes to you Lord, the author and finisher of my faith and lead me through your narrow gate, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
