Today‘s Inspiration: “To those who are called, sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ: Mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you.” Jude 1:1-2 NKJV Without the fear of the Lord, there is no sanctification in a Christian life. If many are called and few are chosen, it is because many are saved but few are sanctified. Life issues are cumulative and we can be oblivious of the condition of the soul, leading unhealthy spiritual life. Proverbs 4:23. It’s likened a house that has not been cleaned for months, how much more for a soul for years?
If a house requires cleaning, so does our soul require cleansing and sanctification with the Word of God. Who can endure the day of Christ coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner’s fire And like launderers’ soap. He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver; He will purify the sons of Levi, And purge them as gold and silver, That they may offer to the Lord An offering in righteousness. Malachi 3:2-3 Therefore build ourselves up on our most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And on some have compassion, making a distinction; but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh. Jude 1:20-23. Glory to God.
Prayer: O Lord my God, create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your presence, And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, And uphold me by Your generous Spirit, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
