Today’s Inspiration: “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.”Matthew 5:8 NIV This is one of the most beautiful verses from the sermon at the mount. Only a pure heart will not sin against God and is obedient to His Word. Sin corrupts and causes one’s heart to be rebellious, proud and violent. A pure heart is given by God, only when we choose to surrender our old and hardened one to Him.

David sang,”Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.”Psalms 51:10-12 The psalmist reveals, “Lord, you alone are my portion and my cup; you make my lot secure. The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance. I will praise the Lord, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me. I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.”Psalms 16:5-8 NIV
Prayers: O Lord my God, purify my heart and renew my mind in Christ with the knowledge of God. Purge me from sins with hyssop and cleanse me to be as white as snow. Show me your glory and grace that I may be a witness of your goodness all the days of my life. Your are my dwelling place and refuge, no evil shall befall upon me and no plague shall come near my tent, in Jesus Name, Amen.
