Today’s inspiration: “Again Jesus called the crowd to him and said, “Listen to me, everyone, and understand this. Nothing outside a person can defile them by going into them. Rather, it is what comes out of a person that defiles them.”” Mark 7:14-15 NIV. Most people only focus on their outward life in the world but neglected the inner life and growth in the Spirit man in the Kingdom of God. Colossians 3:1 If our bodies need care from healthy food, so do our soul who needs healthy thoughts, emotions, and contemplation through the Word of God, in prayer, worship and meditation.
Jesus said,” Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Matthew 6:21. If our hearts are filled with the world for riches, possessions, position and fame, it will corrupt the soul. We can’t serve mammon and God. V24 Wisdom says,” My son, pay attention to what I say; turn your ear to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them and health to one’s whole body. Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it. Keep your mouth free of perversity; keep corrupt talk far from your lips.” Proverbs 4:20-24. Christ must be the treasure of our Hearts to live as Christians and be true disciples of Christ. Breakthrough comes from a contrite heart.
Prayer: O Lord my God, forgive me if I have prioritised the things of the world rather than on your Word and your Will. Give me your daily manna for my heart and soul thirst and hunger for your Holy Spirit. Fill me up again Lord and turn all my desert places into your rivers and in my wilderness make forth a divine pathway that my heart shall follow you and rejoice. You are my breakthrough and miracle. For out of my heart, you shall ordained all the praises, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
