22 April 2024 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today‘s Inspiration: ”There is one who makes himself rich, yet has nothing; And one who makes himself poor, yet has great riches.“ Proverbs‬ ‭13‬:‭7‬ ‭NKJV. Today we see churches or souls stumbled because of the prosperity gospel. Our late Reverend Alicia once taught us that the wisdom and wealth of the Kingdom of God is not about having more but needing less. Christ desires us to make disciples, not denarii. The late Hudson Taylor said this,” God’s work in God’s way will never lack God’s provision.”

When we seek God first His Kingdom and His righteousness, all that we need shall be added to us. Matthew 6:33. When a man’s ways please the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him. Better is a little with righteousness, Than vast revenues without justice. A man’s heart plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps. Proverbs‬ ‭16‬:‭7‬-‭9.‬ ‭When we are faithful with little, God entrust to us more. Matthew 25:23. It is good stewardship of our spiritual life that brings wisdom and growth to our financial and relational life as a good steward. Don’t take things for granted but cherish the people and resources God has put into your hands.

Prayer: O Lord my God, let my eyes be on your plow and let my heart be in your plans. Let your kingdom come and your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Set me apart for your calling and may my faithfulness in Christ bring forth fruitfulness. May your purpose in my spirit be always larger than the provision in my sight, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
